HELP FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN TURKEY AND SYRIA

Turkey and Syria were rocked by a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake early on Monday 6th February, followed by several strong aftershocks. Thousands of buildings were destroyed by the tremors and people were trapped in the rubble; a total of thousands of casualties were confirmed in both countries. The number of casualties is expected to rise as rescue efforts continue. Life Share Network teams and our partner organisations will focus on distributing humanitarian aid to those most in need in the country, providing food, clean clothing and hygiene items to earthquake victims. Our workers prepared trucks with humanitarian aid and were sent on its way a few days after the disasters. The relief goods will be delivered directly to the people in need.
